Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Cupatana SC's Allan Santana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Annel SC's Décio Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovani da Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Annel SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Donato to maneuver through the defense. Allan Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Chaves having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Annel SC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Costa came free, but Pedrinho Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Donato was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 25th minute, Afonsinho Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovani da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cupatana SC's zone, Nestor Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani da Fonseca came out of the goal and Nestor Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilson Leal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Annel SC's Sebastião Catarinense tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nestor Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani da Fonseca having to interfere. The supporters of Annel SC booed when Cupatana SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Adrianinho Castro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The supporters of Annel SC booed when Cupatana SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Faustino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Costa in the 57th minute of play forced Annel SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrinho Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute Allan Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Annel SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Garcia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedrinho Chaves. Annel SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Annel SC's Décio Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match Annel SC got a corner. Cupatana SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastião Catarinense ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Annel SC's Sydney Macedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Giovani da Fonseca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 91 minutes, Gláuber Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annel SC and the Cupatana SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Gláuber Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cupatana SC's Allan Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
