The referee gave Alberto Alvarenga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The wind increased when Alfredo Araújo made the kick off in the second half. André Peres hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tauape SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
