Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonsinho Paulista took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zé Augusto Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Moura in the 6th minute of the match. Vivaldo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Paulista in the 10th minute of the match. Vivaldo Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrício de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Augusto Vidal made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Léo Madureira sent off a good shot on target. When Nestor Moura came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Domingao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Moura couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vivaldo Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Júlio Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vivaldo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício de Carvalho in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Domingao's goalkeeper Vivaldo Meira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vivaldo Meira. Domingao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonsinho Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Arthur Zilles fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibitunane EC's protests and gave Arthur Zilles a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Domingao booed when Ibitunane EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Zilles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonsinho Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Moura to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Domingao got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Zonta. Afonsinho Paulista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vivaldo Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Léo Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Vidal having to interfere. Nestor Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrício de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vivaldo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Domingao got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Faustino. Afonsinho Paulista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Meira having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Madureira in the 79th minute of play forced Ibitunane EC's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Moura in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Augusto Vidal saved Ibitunane EC from getting behind. If Patrício de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Paulista might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonsinho Paulista ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrício de Carvalho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 97th playminute. The Ibitunane EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ibitunane EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
