Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tales Salgado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tales Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 played minutes Ibiagui SC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Prado. Tales Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Albertinho Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Trancoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Pedro Bastos. Anitapolis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Zanette in the 17th minute of play forced Anitapolis FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Régis Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiagui SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Pedro Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Anitapolis FC's Tony Guedes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Tales Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Silvinho Vidal notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ibiagui SC's Albertinho Goiano. Albertinho Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiagui SC's zone, Silvinho Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Goiano came out of the goal and Silvinho Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Pedro Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Anitapolis FC's Carlos Alberto de Barros got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Régis Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Régis Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Anitapolis FC's Tales Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Tarcisio Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibiagui SC and the Anitapolis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Tarcisio Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. José Pedro Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Régis Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Pedro Bastos was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. José Pedro Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Régis Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio Prestes in the 83rd minute of play forced Anitapolis FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertinho Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Salgado in the 90th minute of play. Ibiagui SC's Adriano Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Anitapolis FC's Pedrão Mendonça got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Régis Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiagui SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Pedro Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Ibiagui SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anitapolis FC throughout the match.
