Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jano Velasco started the match with the kick off. In the 2ndth minute of the game Delfim Campidelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lage FC's Fábio Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delfim Campidelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delfim Campidelis ran back to his position shaking his head. Manimbu FC's Hugo Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Velasco in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Dito Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manimbu FC and the Lage FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manimbu FC's Dito Gonçalves got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes, Lage FC's Oswaldo Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Cavalcante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lage FC reached it. Caetano Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manimbu FC's Delfim Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tião Mendonça hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lage FC's Fábio Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Lage FC from getting a goal against them. Jano Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Cavalcante having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Fellipe Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Hermes in the 42nd minute of play forced Manimbu FC's goalkeeper Hugo Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Tinoco hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Campidelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Velasco in the 52nd minute of play. Oséas de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Tião Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Geovanni Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Lage FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Campidelis came free, but Fábio Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Campidelis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Caetano Hermes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Cavalcante having to make a save. When Fellipe Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manimbu FC's protests and gave Fellipe Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lage FC booed when Manimbu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano Velasco in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Cavalcante saved Manimbu FC from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
