Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Válbson Prado kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Jano Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Chico Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 minutes, Raí Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lage FC and the Roceira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enio Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jano Velasco's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Gustavo Cruz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Leite was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Enio Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Velasco in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caetano Hermes in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enio Barros saved Roceira SC from getting behind. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cristiano Rezende hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Lage FC's Jano Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 31st minute, Caetano Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enio Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Roceira SC's Enio Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Velasco in the 34th minute of play. Fábio Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Prado in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Caetano Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Hermes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Lage FC's Oswaldo Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Lage FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Velasco in the 53rd minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Enio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fábio Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roceira SC's Válbson Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Roceira SC's zone, Jano Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enio Barros came out of the goal and Jano Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fábio Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Jano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Carlos Marquez made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Fonseca. Lage FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gustavo Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Caetano Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Barros having to interfere. Caetano Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Caetano Hermes hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Lage FC's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Prado came free, but Fábio Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Cruz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válbson Prado in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Fonseca saved Lage FC from getting behind. Carlos Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Fonseca having to interfere. Fábio Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Marquez's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lage FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
