After a defensive mix-up in Iutica FC's zone, Felippe Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Linhares came out of the goal and Felippe Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Panema FC's Humberto Trigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Linhares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Iutica FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Evaristo Toledo hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Panema FC's Humberto Trigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute Rafael Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Linhares struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Alex de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iutica FC. Kaká Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alex de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panema FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iutica FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Panema FC's Osvaldo Neves got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Perivaldo Viana sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panema FC's Alex de Brito didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Torres got free with Fabiano Linhares in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Trigo in the 36th minute of the match. Felippe Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Fabiano Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Trigo in the 41st minute of play forced Iutica FC's goalkeeper Fabiano Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Linhares in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Rafael Linhares made the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Linhares came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panema FC's Humberto Trigo. But to his dismay, Humberto Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Almir Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Linhares in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaká Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Alex de Brito made a huge save. When Felippe Torres got free in front of the goal in the 67th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fabiano Linhares was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Humberto Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fabiano Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleandro Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Alex de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Linhares having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Rafael Linhares lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Alex de Brito. When Osvaldo Neves was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 82nd match minute, Panema FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Neves to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Iutica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Torres came free, but Fabiano Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Panema FC's Samuca Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Linhares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Luiz Gustavo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panema FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
