Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Linhares made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Iutica FC's zone, Geovani Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Linhares came out of the goal and Geovani Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Curu SC's Geovani Loyola in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iutica FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute, Curu SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rafael Linhares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Curu SC's Remo Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Linhares in the 11th minute of play. Geovani Loyola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Fabiano Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remo Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Linhares in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Rafael Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Rafael Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curu SC's Remo Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Kaká Alvarenga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 44 minutes into the match, Geovani Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Linhares. Iutica FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Geovani Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Geovani Loyola made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Loyola in the 53rd minute of play forced Iutica FC's goalkeeper Fabiano Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iutica FC's Fabiano Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Loyola in the 54th minute of play. Remo Vale had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Perivaldo Viana's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 58th minute, Curu SC's Perivaldo Catarinense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Linhares. Fabiano Linhares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After having played for 66 minutes, Kaká Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iutica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remo Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Kaká Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Rafael Linhares notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Curu SC's Remo Vale. Remo Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nuno de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Curu SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
