Igor Zilles kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Aníbal Mandrak put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alex de Brito. Tião Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Inocencia got a freekick which was hit by Tião Senna. After a rather tough play, Inocencia's Gabriel Cabral got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alex de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Mandrak in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Samuca Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Inocencia's Percival Soares in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panema FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When Denílson Pires came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Inocencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Pires couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Aníbal Mandrak got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panema FC's goalkeeper Alex de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex de Brito made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Percival Soares sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Inocencia's zone, Felippe Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Maia came out of the goal and Felippe Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencia's César Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Trigo in the 82nd minute of play. Alex de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Inocencia's Matías Soeiro got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Inocencia's zone, Felippe Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Maia came out of the goal and Felippe Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
