Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Carlos Freitas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Caranda EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. If José Carlos Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Marinho took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Castro. Romeu Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Romeu Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Freitas in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Cauã Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, José Carlos Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondonia SC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Carlos Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Armindo Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cauã Bezerra hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Rondonia SC's Leopoldo Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 39th match minute, Caranda EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Batista to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Freitas in the 41st minute of play forced Caranda EC's goalkeeper Romeu Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leopoldo Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Vides to make the kick off. Leopoldo Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Castro having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Joaquim Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-3 became the score in the 63rd minute when Joaquim Vides elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wellington Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marcelinho de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Joaquim Vides left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caranda EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho de Carvalho was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Wellington Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Wellington Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondonia SC's José Carlos Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeu Castro. That made the score 2-4 after 87 minutes of play. Romeu Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Marinho in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rondonia SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
