The supporters of Bandolim booed when Maruahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Magno Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandolim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Batista in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zé Pedro Hames, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luiz Gustavo da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê de Mendonça in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Gláuber Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê de Mendonça in the 27th minute of play forced Bandolim's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Dedê de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo da Silva having to interfere. If Dedê de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Maruahy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Magno Almeida fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luiz Gustavo da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Meira in the 45th minute of play.

If Miguel Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Magno Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Pedro Hames came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandolim's Miguel Batista. But to his dismay, Miguel Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Maruahy's Toninho Quadros got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Amadeu Simões took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Gustavo da Silva. Bandolim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Miguel Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Meira might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Gustavo da Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Meira ran back to his position shaking his head. When Miguel Batista came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Bandolim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Batista couldn't finish the play. Luiz Gustavo da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Meira's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. A collision led to Bandolim getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jaime Moura hit a great ball. Miguel Batista struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Zé Pedro Hames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandolim. If Magno Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ramón Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maruahy's protests and gave Ramón Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Bandolim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adelino Dias in the 90th minute. A nice corner shot did that Adelino Dias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Pedro Hames quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Magno Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
