After 11th play minutes Nilmar Medeiros shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Evandro Quirino and just under the crossbar into goal. Nilmar Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Evandro Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Jaracatiara's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho França came free, but Evandro Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Guto Britto came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Jaracatiara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Britto couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Patrício Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Terra in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Wanderson Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Leal hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrício Gomes in the 41st minute of play forced Oiticeiro's goalkeeper Juvenal de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Oiticeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Mendes came free, but Juvenal de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Quirino having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Nilmar Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evandro Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Evandro Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho França, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jaracatiara's zone, Sandrinho França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evandro Quirino came out of the goal and Sandrinho França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evandro Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
