With a little luck, Guedeslandia FC's Hermínio Maia got control of the ball when Dráusio Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Carlos Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Campidelis in the 22nd minute of play forced Aprasive's goalkeeper André Luiz Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermínio Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Tavares in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Cristóvão Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aprasive's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermínio Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão Tavares to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Dráusio Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guedeslandia FC and the Aprasive players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Guedeslandia FC got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Mineiro. Cristóvão Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dráusio Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elder Nunes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hermínio Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The supporters of Aprasive booed when Guedeslandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
