In the 10th minute, Eliézer Faustino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdir Catarinense during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Carlos Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. José Carlos Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Mota in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Trucu AD booed when Eufrozina EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Frank Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute Eliézer Faustino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Trucu AD getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marcus Santos hit a great ball. Eliézer Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. The Trucu AD fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Trucu AD's Fiori Mota looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fiori Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eufrozina EC's Luisinho Prestes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute, Fiori Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Washington Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute.
