Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chico Ceresso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cesinha Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesinha Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cesinha Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Juninho de Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Fernandez went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Chico Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joanica's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juninho de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Fernandez in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Cesinha Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes of play, Veiros's Marcelinho Prado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Joanica's Chico Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juninho de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Walmir Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Juninho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Marcelinho Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rômulo Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joanica's protests and gave Rômulo Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. It was beautiful to see Veiros's Edgard da Mata in action when he in the 44th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Telmo Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Beto Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Marcelinho Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Barros having to interfere. Joanica's Beto Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Prado in the 61st minute of play. Walmir Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Walmir Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Joanica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Fernandez couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Gabriel Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joanica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veiros the free kick. Gabriel Saraiva hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Telmo Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes of play Joanica's Gabriel Saraiva was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Telmo Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Joanica got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão de Barros. Joanica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
