Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Otávio de Carvalho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Joanica's zone, Otávio de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beto Barros came out of the goal and Otávio de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes of play, Beco's Téo Faustino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Beco's Custódio Velloso got a free kick in the 15th minute. Chico Ceresso spun around in front of the goal 20 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Beco's goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beco's goalkeeper Serafim Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serafim Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Ceresso in the 32nd minute of play forced Beco's goalkeeper Serafim Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Serafim Valle made a huge save. Oséias Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Beco's Téo Faustino got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chico Ceresso to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Chico Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Serafim Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 56 minutes, Téo Faustino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Faustino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Otávio de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chico Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Serafim Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Ceresso in the 69th minute of the match. If Walmir Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafim Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chico Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Serafim Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Joanica booed when Beco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Faustino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Breno Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Beco's Cacá Queiroz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Joanica's Chico Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walmir Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Serafim Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joanica. Beco's Serafim Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Fernandez in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Joanica fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beco had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
