Fernandinho Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Pitta having to interfere. Fernandinho Vander struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tiaguinho Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camuca. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willian Pombal made a kick off. Sidnei Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Imbauzinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camuca the free kick. A collision led to Imbauzinho getting a freekick after 70 minutes play.
