Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Severino Botelho made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Severino Botelho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiago Messias, 1-0. After 12 played minutes Pacatuba got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Cardozo. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ramiro Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pacatuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Zé Roberto Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ramiro Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jairo de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Tomás Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo de Alcântara. Goianopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Goianopolis's Zé Roberto Linhares got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Zé Roberto Linhares off the ground. Zé Roberto Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Correia in the 36th managed to get into a good position. 54 minutes into the match, Ernani Cardozo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jairo de Alcântara, 1-2. Zézinho Paiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Jairo de Alcântara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tiago Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos de Carvalho in the 60th minute of play. Tomás Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jairo de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos de Carvalho took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Messias. Tiago Messias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ramiro Palmeiras short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Jairo de Alcântara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 74 minutes, Sérgio Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goianopolis and the Pacatuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sérgio Dias hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Sérgio Dias came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Goianopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Dias couldn't finish the play. Marcos de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pacatuba's goalkeeper Tiago Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiago Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos de Carvalho went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
