Ramiro Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Antônio Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Duarte Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pacatuba and the Sozinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Ronaldão Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Messias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Ramiro Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Tomás Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Pacatuba getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. The Sozinho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pacatuba were winning 1-2.

Antônio Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sozinho FC's goalkeeper Antônio Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 minutes of play, Sozinho FC's José Pedro Oliveira made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luiz Fabiano Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Tomás Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 68 played minutes Pacatuba got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Paiva. Tiago Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldão Esteves's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pacatuba! Sozinho FC's Antônio Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Palmeira in the 85th minute of play. Ramiro Palmeira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Albertino Secco's late challenge caught a Pacatuba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertino Secco helped the player get up and apologised. Albertino Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Ramiro Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pacatuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Palmeira couldn't finish the play. Tomás Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antônio Moraes having to make a save.
