The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Botelho got free with Joel Dracena in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Pedro Augusto Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Pedro Augusto Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Dracena was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Geovanni Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Pedro Augusto Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geovanni Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joel Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Tales Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agostinho SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agostinho SS's Joel Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Quadros in the 25th minute of play. Tales Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Melo having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Oswaldo Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agostinho SS and the Cangica EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Agostinho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joel Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Pedro Augusto Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Quadros in the 39th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Geovanni Botelho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Agostinho SS's Joel Dracena. Joel Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pedro Augusto Quadros made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Agostinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Quadros came free, but Joel Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Agostinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Seco. Agostinho SS's Joel Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Botelho in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Agostinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Botelho came free, but Joel Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Naldo Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agostinho SS's Joel Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Augusto Quadros in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovanni Botelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Agostinho SS's Joel Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Quadros in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Agostinho SS's zone, Pedro Augusto Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Dracena came out of the goal and Pedro Augusto Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agostinho SS's Joel Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Botelho in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Geovanni Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Joel Dracena. Agostinho SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Geovanni Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, one of Agostinho SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Agostinho SS. When the referee ended the match the Cangica EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
