Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eliseu Monteiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Róbson de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Eliseu Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Araújo having to interfere. Vitinho Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Sai FC's Samuel Neto got a free kick in the 21st minute. Otávio de Amorim, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Fiori Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Arthur Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbson de Senna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Otávio de Amorim. After a rather tough play, Sai FC's Enio Araújo got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Tanabi EC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Toledo. Fiori Aguiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Róbson de Senna made a huge save. When Tião Branco came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tanabi EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tião Branco couldn't finish the play. When Samuel Neto fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sai FC's protests and gave Samuel Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Neto hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Otávio de Amorim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sai FC's Róbson de Senna didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseu Monteiro during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tanabi EC booed when Sai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Tanabi EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Monteiro came free, but Vitinho Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eliseu Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tião Branco to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Fiori Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbson de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sai FC defense, Tião Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Róbson de Senna. The Sai FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Róbson de Senna should have stopped the shot. Toninho Arce didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 68th minute. Sai FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 71 played minutes Tanabi EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Arruda. Tião Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fiori Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Linares during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Tanabi EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sai FC:s goal. After a rather tough play, Tanabi EC's Luiz Fábio Arruda got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Eliseu Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Vitinho Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sai FC. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
