In the 13thth minute of the game Kléber Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caraibuna FC's Renatinho Zilles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Alemao FC booed when Caraibuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Alemao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Gomes came free, but Gilberto Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caraibuna FC's Tibúrcio Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Tomás Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alemao FC and the Caraibuna FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Alemao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Costa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Alemao FC booed when Caraibuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renatinho Zilles was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Kléber Rosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kléber Rosa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Renatinho Zilles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Rosa in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Caraibuna FC's Renatinho Zilles got control of the ball when Clemente do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clemente do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Renatinho Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tibúrcio Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Kléber Rosa made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Kléber Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renatinho Zilles. Caraibuna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléber Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caraibuna FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Zilles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kléber Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alemao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Zilles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Rosa in the 64th minute of play forced Caraibuna FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Chico Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Caraibuna FC's zone, Kléber Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Zilles came out of the goal and Kléber Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Rosa in the 76th minute of play forced Caraibuna FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibúrcio Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Catarinense having to make a save. Jean Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Catarinense having to interfere. Caraibuna FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
