In the 4th match minute, Acapucai SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean Gomes got free with Jorginho Cearense in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonçalo Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Renatinho Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Zilles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Quirino's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Caraibuna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Medeiros came free, but Renatinho Zilles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renatinho Zilles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Medeiros in the 21st minute of the match. Acapucai SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Belmiro Cosme in the 23rd minute. Acapucai SS's Raí Santana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Renatinho Zilles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Renatinho Zilles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acapucai SS's goalkeeper Jorginho Cearense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Matos in the 36th minute of play forced Acapucai SS's goalkeeper Jorginho Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Acapucai SS's zone, Tibúrcio Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorginho Cearense came out of the goal and Tibúrcio Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renatinho Zilles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caraibuna FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ronaldinho Vieira hit a great ball.

52 minutes into the game, Caraibuna FC's Jean Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho Cearense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Gonçalo Quirino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ramiro Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Matos in the 73rd minute of play forced Acapucai SS's goalkeeper Jorginho Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ramiro Medeiros sped through Caraibuna FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renatinho Zilles. With a little luck, Caraibuna FC's Renatinho Zilles got control of the ball when Ramiro Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorginho Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Gomes in the 87th minute of play. Renatinho Zilles was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Gonçalo Quirino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gonçalo Quirino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
