Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guirapa's Agenor Penha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Capibaribe's goal looked a bit too open when Agenor Penha came free, but Narciso Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agenor Penha in the 4th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Eliseu de Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Narciso Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agenor Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luís Fábio Tasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renato de Sena was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Guirapa's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Tasso came free, but Renato de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Tavares in the 27th minute of play forced Guirapa's goalkeeper Renato de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauã Soares hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Capibaribe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Agenor Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Senna having to interfere. Capibaribe's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Agenor Penha 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Renato de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fábio Tasso's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Luís Fábio Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato de Sena having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fábio Tasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agenor Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agenor Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. After 53 played minutes Capibaribe got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Vinhas. In the 61st minute, Agenor Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guirapa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Gilson Dante was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Renato de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fábio Tasso's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, David Tavares notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Guirapa's Renato de Sena. Renato de Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Capibaribe's goal looked a bit too open when Agenor Penha came free, but Narciso Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu de Sena in the 85th minute of the match. Cauã Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato de Sena having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Luís Fábio Tasso made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Guirapa's Renato de Sena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. David Tavares took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renato de Sena. Renato de Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Capibaribe players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
