Christian Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alan Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Perez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piuva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juarês Quirino might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Perez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juarês Quirino ran back to his position shaking his head. Juarês Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Christian Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Trigo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Quirino in the 37th minute of play forced Maracaja SC's goalkeeper Christian Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Trigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Christian Perez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrianinho Messias hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes of play, Maracaja SC's Elói Cunha made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Digo Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Juarês Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betinho Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Digo Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Adrianinho Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robinho Queiroz during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Piuva FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maracaja SC:s goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piuva FC's goalkeeper Digo Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
