Marcelo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Maurício Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Castro in the 18th minute of the match. Digo Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Digo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Antunes in the 24th minute of play. Digo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráuzio Antunes went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. João Paulo Dias hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Itacaja's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Quirino came free, but Maurício Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Itacaja's goalkeeper Maurício Bittencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juarês Quirino. Alan Trigo in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Itacaja's zone, Alan Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Bittencourt came out of the goal and Alan Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. Tomé Castro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Alan Trigo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Maurício Bittencourt.
