The supporters of Lavrinhas booed when Caibe AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Cléber Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fellipe Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remo Mota went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Samuel de Carvalho hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Serafim Sarmento hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Silvério Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Remo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Cléber Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléber Simão hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, Lavrinhas's Remo Mota made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remo Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Silvério Leal saved Lavrinhas from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Caibe AD's Sandro de Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvério Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Serafim Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lavrinhas's protests and gave Serafim Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Serafim Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Danilo do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caibe AD's goalkeeper Fellipe Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Batista in the 95th minute of play forced Lavrinhas's goalkeeper Silvério Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
