Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelinho Saldanha started the match with the kick off. Reynaldo da Silveira hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cícero Arantes having to make a save. Marcelinho Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cícero Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Saldanha in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rodriguinho Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muxiopo EC's Richard Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Souto in the 29th minute of play forced Muxiopo EC's goalkeeper Richard Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodriguinho Dante's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Muxiopo EC's Richard Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Dante in the 36th minute of play. Erik Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cícero Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muxiopo EC's Marcelinho Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Tiago Gabriel Porto hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Saldanha in the 55th minute of play forced Aquiperto's goalkeeper Cícero Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Erik Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cícero Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Marcelinho Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Aquiperto a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clemente Zonta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Muxiopo EC's Richard Gaúcho. 1-1. Marcelinho Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Arantes having to interfere. Clemente Zonta hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Ismael Souto fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aquiperto's protests and gave Ismael Souto a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Marcelinho Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Souto was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th match minute, Aquiperto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Souto to maneuver through the defense. If Erik Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
