After a defensive mix-up in Cortado AD's zone, Dagoberto Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Neto came out of the goal and Dagoberto Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st match minute, Macacaria EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho da Silva to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cortado AD's Sandro Neto got control of the ball when Dagoberto Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Secco in the 32nd minute of the match. André Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Cearense in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Motta saved Macacaria EC from getting behind. Dagoberto Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Macacaria EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cortado AD were winning 0-1.

Cortado AD's Sandro Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Furtado in the 53rd minute of play. Sandro Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Furtado in the 55th minute of the match. If Igor Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Motta made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Albertino Secco sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cortado AD booed when Macacaria EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percival Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Batista in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Albertino Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortado AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percival Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Macacaria EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albertino Secco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
