Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yan Antunes made the kick off which started today's match. After 10 minutes of play, Euca EC's Váldson Barral made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrianinho Proença was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herculandia's Adrianinho Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Antunes in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Antunes in the 21st minute of play forced Herculandia's goalkeeper Adrianinho Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Duda Guerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrianinho Proença showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gerson do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sebastião Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Herculandia's Gerson do Valle in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Euca EC's goalie prevented a goal. Gerson do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Negri having to interfere.

53 minutes into the match, Jonathan Tasso notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Euca EC's Sebastião Negri. Sebastião Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Herculandia's Túlio Senna got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Yan Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aírton de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Euca EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Jonathan Tasso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Jonathan Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Herculandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Tasso couldn't finish the play. If Yan Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Herculandia booed when Euca EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gerson do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herculandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerson do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Negri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 81 in the game by Gerson do Valle from a close distance when the talented Sebastião Negri managed to make a qualified save. Euca EC's players were relieved. Váldson Barral hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Gerson do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Negri having to interfere. In the 87th minute Gerson do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Váldson Barral fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Euca EC's protests and gave Váldson Barral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Euca EC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Váldson Barral hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Silvinho Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herculandia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Renato Galvão was slow to take the kick. During this time Euca EC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Euca EC's Paulo Renato Galvão to fire away a dangerous shot which Adrianinho Proença despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herculandia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
