Valdomiro Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Washington do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Severino Mumbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Pedro Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Louveira FC booed when Imbituba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Imbituba fans cheered their team off the field, for while Louveira FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
