Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Pedro Tepedino started the match with the kick off. Washington do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Doni de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Egídio Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egídio Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Washington do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Imbituba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cláudio Paraibano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 15th minute, Luís Guilherme Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmyr Santos during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Washington do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davi Guerra in the 22nd minute. After 27th play minutes Davi Guerra shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Washington do Vale and just under the crossbar into goal. Vítor Leme hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Davi Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington do Vale having to interfere. Washington do Vale was a little too slow when Cláudio Paraibano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 39th match minute, Jaeteua SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Matos to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Imbituba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Davi Guerra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Guerra to strike the kick off in the second half. Washington do Vale came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jaeteua SC's Davi Guerra. But to his dismay, Davi Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 66 minutes, Davi Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaeteua SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cláudio Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaeteua SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Imbituba's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Mello came free, but Washington do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the game, Davi Guerra landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 71 minutes into the game, one of Imbituba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Waldemar Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington do Vale having to interfere. Evaristo Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaeteua SC's Doni de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Tepedino in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Jaeteua SC's Doni de Barros got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldemar Mello struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Washington do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaeteua SC. 86 minutes into the match, Imbituba's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Mello came free, but Washington do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Washington do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Júnior Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 92nd minute of the match Luís Guilherme Varela completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luís Guilherme Varela a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Amauri Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Washington do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaeteua SC.
