The supporters of Florestal booed when Sabauna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The referee ignored Florestal's protests and gave Chicão Massa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Sabauna.
