Jairo Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Diogo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Quirino made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Wilson Baptista sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Quirino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Angelo Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luiz Guilherme Leal fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caresalzinho EC's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Leal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Caresalzinho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Leal to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fábio Britto during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Gritos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Britto. Eugênio Alagoano, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 29th minute, Gabriel Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes Gritos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Britto. In the 41st minute Caresalzinho EC were awarded a corner. Eugênio Alagoano went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 44th minute Yan Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Gritos FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Monteiro. Jairo Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Diogo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gritos FC's Diogo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Goiano in the 54th minute of play. Jairo Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Diogo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Goiano in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Gritos FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gabriel Lucas hit a great ball. Yan Guerra took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Santos. Diogo Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tomé Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Quirino having to interfere. Angelo Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Wilson Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Angelo Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Caresalzinho EC booed when Gritos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Caresalzinho EC's Yan Guerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diogo Santos. That made the score 0-2 after 82 minutes of play. 90 minutes into the match, Caresalzinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Baptista came free, but Angelo Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Yan Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diogo Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caresalzinho EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
