Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Fonseca started the match with the kick off. Claudinho Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Fonseca in the 5th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Wilian Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaraqui's Elder Soares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudinho Quirino made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Tostão Meira sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorginho Hames in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder Soares saved Jaraqui from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Jaraqui got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Alcântara. The supporters of Surucutinga AD booed when Jaraqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percival Vidal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Samuel Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Surucutinga AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jaraqui:s goal. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Jaraqui's Nilton Cosme got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Claudinho Quirino. When Wilian Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Surucutinga AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Mendonça couldn't finish the play. If Samuel Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorginho Hames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes, Willian Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaraqui and the Surucutinga AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elder Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Mendonça in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Wilian Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Tostão Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Meira in the 57th minute of the match. Samuel Fonseca took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Quirino. Claudinho Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Surucutinga AD getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marcinho Diniz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Jaraqui's Elder Soares got control of the ball when Jorginho Hames tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Quirino having to interfere. When Serginho Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surucutinga AD's protests and gave Serginho Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Surucutinga AD! Claudinho Quirino had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Nilton Cosme's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th minute Samuel Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Samuel Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tostão Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Quirino having to interfere. Surucutinga AD's Claudinho Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Meira in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Surucutinga AD's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Fonseca came free, but Claudinho Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aluísio Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Tostão Meira came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Jaraqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Meira couldn't finish the play. Jaraqui's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
