Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when César Gerber got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Gerber in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmo Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César Gerber's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. If Clóvis Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmo Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Luiz Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilhas's protests and gave Luiz Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Maravilhas got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Cosme. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilhas's zone, Clóvis Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Dante came out of the goal and Clóvis Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes, Yan de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruque SC and the Maravilhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Yan de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Aloísio Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloísio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute César Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Uruque SC's Dalmo Quadros got control of the ball when Aloísio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Maravilhas booed when Uruque SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Clóvis Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruque SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clóvis Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 played minutes Maravilhas got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Marques.

52 minutes into the match, Maravilhas's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Jacinto came free, but Marcos Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aloísio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Josué Leão fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilhas's protests and gave Josué Leão a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maravilhas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Josué Leão hit a great ball. Clóvis Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Dante having to interfere. Dalmo Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Gerber in the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Paes got free with Marcos Dante in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clóvis Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fábio Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dida das Neves's late challenge caught a Uruque SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Dida das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Clóvis Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, one of Maravilhas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maravilhas. When the final whistle sounded Uruque SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maravilhas.
