When Ulisses Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Mamanguape fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Ferraz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Saraiva in the 11th minute of play forced Uruque SC's goalkeeper Dalmo Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Clóvis Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes, Luís Fábio Jacinto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mamanguape's Benjamin da Silveira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clóvis Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin da Silveira having to interfere. Luís Fábio Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin da Silveira having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Mamanguape was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mamanguape's Geovani Amaral got a free kick in the 29th minute. Clóvis Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mamanguape's Benjamin da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Jacinto in the 36th minute of play. Yan de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Paulo Severo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin da Silveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 47 played minutes Uruque SC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Jacinto.
The wind increased when Gustavo Saraiva made the kick off in the second half. Dalmo Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Ferraz in the 53rd minute of the match. Clóvis Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Benjamin da Silveira made a huge save. Luís Fábio Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Benjamin da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Clóvis Paes sent off a good shot on target. Ulisses Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Quadros having to interfere. Luís Fábio Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Benjamin da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruque SC. In the 80th minute, Gilson Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Clóvis Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Clóvis Paes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 91 minutes into the match, Mamanguape's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Jacinto came free, but Benjamin da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clóvis Paes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin da Silveira having to make a save. Mamanguape succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Uruque SC had controlled the match.
