Leonel Montenegro in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Marcos Dante was a little too slow when Moisés Gaspar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Maravilhas's Marcos Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Maravilhas from getting a goal against them. Marcos Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Gaspar in the 30th minute of play. Leonel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Dante having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Luiz Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Montenegro in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcos Dante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. César Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for César Gerber to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcondes's Fausto Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Marcondes from getting a goal against them. If Aloísio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Maravilhas's Marcos Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Gaspar in the 63rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Fausto Valladares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Luís Coutinho hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Maravilhas booed when Marcondes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Marcondes's goalkeeper Fausto Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloísio Marques. Aloísio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fausto Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian Trigo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Fausto Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maravilhas. If Leonel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maravilhas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marcondes.
