Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gualter do Nascimento got the match started through his kick off. When Natã do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Upamirim EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã do Vale couldn't finish the play. Patrício de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Upamirim EC's zone, Dênis Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Botelho came out of the goal and Dênis Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter do Nascimento in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chumichuga's Gino Paraíba got a free kick in the 19th minute. Upamirim EC's Ezequiel Bittencourt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chumichuga. After 21 played minutes Chumichuga got a freekick which was hit by Gino Paraíba. 32 minutes into the match, Upamirim EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter do Nascimento came free, but Bruno Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chumichuga's Paulinho Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã do Vale in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gualter do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chumichuga's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Upamirim EC's Bruno Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter do Nascimento in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Vinícius Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Upamirim EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chumichuga the free kick. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Upamirim EC! The referee gave Chumichuga a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vítor Barral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Upamirim EC's Bruno Botelho. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Patrício de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrício de Queirós in the 57th minute of play forced Chumichuga's goalkeeper Paulinho Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Natã do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Paulinho Schmidt. Chumichuga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Upamirim EC's zone, Dênis Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Botelho came out of the goal and Dênis Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chumichuga booed when Upamirim EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Gualter do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bruno Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter do Nascimento in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Upamirim EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Machado came free, but Bruno Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Upamirim EC defense, Gualter do Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Botelho. The Upamirim EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Botelho should have stopped the shot. Patrício de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Schmidt having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Upamirim EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Machado came free, but Bruno Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Chumichuga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Upamirim EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
