Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Wilson Quaresma started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Itapinimba FC's Rafael Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rochedinho EC's zone, Raimundo Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Matorin came out of the goal and Raimundo Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Mandrak in the 8th minute. If Alex Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Lucas having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Itapinimba FC got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Bittencourt. In the 27th minute, Alex Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rochedinho EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nuno Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hélder Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Matorin having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Itapinimba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Quaresma came free, but Bruno Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hélder Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Hélder Matorin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fernandinho Hoffmann in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nuno Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Matorin having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Seco made a kick off. Rochedinho EC's Hélder Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Mandrak in the 56th minute of play. Raimundo Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Raimundo Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Fantini's late challenge caught a Itapinimba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Rochedinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Fantini. Pedro Luiz Sá took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hélder Matorin. Rochedinho EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alex Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bruno Lucas made a huge save. If Alex Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wilson Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Rochedinho EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Quaresma couldn't finish the play. Alex Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Lucas having to interfere. 82 minutes in the game, Wilson Quaresma fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Lucas having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Pedro Luiz Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hélder Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Itapinimba FC's Bruno Lucas got control of the ball when Alex Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Raimundo Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapinimba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Rochedinho EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rochedinho EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
