A hard and well directed shot from Silvério Souza led 8 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Mecejana EC's Renato Fantini became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Thiago França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Medeiros in the 13th minute of play forced Tiradentes's goalkeeper Thiago França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tiradentes getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mauro Linares hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Mecejana EC got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Leão. Mauro Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Fantini having to interfere. The supporters of Mecejana EC booed when Tiradentes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thiago França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Linares hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thiago França didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Didi Brasil went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dudu Massa to strike the kick off in the second half. Téo Schmidt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Renato Fantini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dudu Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiradentes's Silvério Souza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mecejana EC. Renato Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Fantini having to interfere. Thiago França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiradentes's Thiago França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Medeiros in the 88th minute of play. Benê Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago França having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Tiradentes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mecejana EC.
