Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 6 minutes, Antônio Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquarussu and the Marabitana AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Taquarussu got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Britto. 9 minutes into the match, Taquarussu's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Queiroz came free, but Dito Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Taquarussu's Bruninho das Neves got a free kick in the 10th minute. Hermínio Paes made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Amadeu de Senna sent off a good shot on target. Marabitana AD's Hermínio Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Paiva in the 16th minute of play. Amadeu de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermínio Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Marabitana AD's Ronaldão Queiroz got a free kick in the 25th minute. Amadeu de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Paes having to interfere. Hermínio Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Queiroz in the 31st minute of play forced Taquarussu's goalkeeper Dito Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dito Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Amadeu de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marabitana AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mateus Paiva 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 39th minute, Mateus Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldão Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dito Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Mateus Paiva made the kick off in the second half. Hermínio Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Paiva in the 56th minute of the match. Mateus Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Paes having to interfere. Bruninho das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Taquarussu getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Antônio Britto hit a great ball. Flávio Simões's late challenge caught a Marabitana AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Simões helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Taquarussu got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Simões.
