When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Baiano made a kick off. Aluísio Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfredo Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Orlando Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Vale in the 58th minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Guilherme Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comodoro and the Mucana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orlando Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Jeferson Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Comodoro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeferson Pontes couldn't finish the play. Guilherme Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aluísio Torres having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Mucana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Mattos to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Jeferson Pontes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aluísio Torres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
