Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rui de Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alexandre Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui de Castro in the 3rd minute of play. Severino's Alexandre Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Cabral in the 10th minute of play. Dênis Palmeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Conrado Mesquita came out and tried to block the shot, but Dênis Palmeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Anselmo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiracy's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dênis Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Ibiracy's Anselmo Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Mesquita having to interfere. Rui de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Ibiracy's Anselmo Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Rui de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ibiracy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui de Castro couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Anselmo Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Cerezo. Severino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Conrado Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Ibiracy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
