Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Acácio Negri made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Frio SS booed when Guajuru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Seco got free with Luís Eduardo de Queiroz in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dito Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acácio Negri's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Dito Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Linhares in the 9th minute of play. If Gilmar Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the game, Gilmar Linhares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dito Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Guajuru's José Augusto Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dito Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Negri in the 27th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hílton Travassos made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Haroldo de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Guajuru's Hílton Travassos made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Acácio Negri struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Dito Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frio SS. After 76 played minutes Guajuru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim de Souza. If Acácio Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio da Costa hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Frio SS's Gilmar Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilmar Linhares got free with Dito Souza in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Hílton Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Travassos in the 90th minute of the match. Gilmar Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Souza having to interfere.
