Afonso da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Corrêa in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otávio Andrade in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiliam Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan da Mata in the 10th minute. Claudinei Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Paulo Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Afonso da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otávio Andrade in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiliam Diniz saved Jacirema SC from getting behind. Allan da Mata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Wiliam Diniz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the game, Gustavo Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibotirama AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacirema SC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Gustavo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Claudinei Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso da Rocha. Ibotirama AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 27th minute, Claudinei Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Afonso da Rocha. Ibotirama AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Allan da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Diniz having to interfere. If Otávio Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Jacirema SC's Wiliam Diniz got control of the ball when Allan da Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otávio Andrade made a kick off. If Pedro Paulo Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Paulo Corrêa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Jacirema SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pedro Paulo Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wiliam Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ibotirama AD defense, Claudinei Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso da Rocha. The Ibotirama AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso da Rocha should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ibotirama AD getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jefferson de Carvalho hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ibotirama AD's zone, Claudinei Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso da Rocha came out of the goal and Claudinei Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ibotirama AD's Jefferson de Carvalho got a free kick in the 77th minute. Otávio Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Jacirema SC's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Andrade came free, but Wiliam Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Moreno struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Afonso da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacirema SC. Jacirema SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
