Afonso da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Clemente Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Gerson Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso da Rocha was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Gerson Guedes struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Afonso da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oliveiras. A collision led to Oliveiras getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gino Peres hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Andrade in the 60th minute of play forced Oliveiras's goalkeeper Durval Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ibotirama AD's Otávio Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Allan da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otávio Andrade in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Silva saved Oliveiras from getting behind. The Ibotirama AD fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Ibotirama AD's Otávio Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Durval Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Andrade in the 92nd minute of the match.
