Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Raúl Paraense made the kick off and thus started the match. Raúl Paraense might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiliam Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raúl Paraense ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Jacirema SC booed when Pinta SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Paraense in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19thth minute of the game Claudinei Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinta SS's Egídio Xavier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wiliam Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raúl Paraense's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Pinta SS got a corner. Jacirema SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Germano Simões ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pinta SS's Luiz Paulo de Queiroz to fire away a dangerous shot which Wiliam Diniz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25th minute, Agenor Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudinei Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinta SS's Raúl Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Agenor Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiliam Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 45th minute, Pinta SS's Raúl Paraense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wiliam Diniz. Wiliam Diniz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Jacirema SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mário Vergílio hit a great ball. Germano Simões, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Agenor Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wiliam Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Raúl Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Wiliam Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Pinta SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Luz to maneuver through the defense. Claudinei Morenos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Egídio Xavier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cléber Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Jacirema SC's Aírton Meireles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Pinta SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Corrêa came free, but Egídio Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiliam Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agenor Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Raúl Paraense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiliam Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Agenor Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pinta SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jacirema SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
