After a defensive mix-up in Jofre EC's zone, Evandro Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Coutinho came out of the goal and Evandro Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jofre EC's Remo Ferraz got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Aírton Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute of the match Digo Azevedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iuri Aguiar skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Tabaqueiro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Reis came free, but Iuri Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Jofre EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Remo Ferraz hit a great ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Cássio Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabaqueiro AD's Iuri Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesinha Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Aguiar having to interfere. Marcelinho Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Iuri Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcelinho Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aírton Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Coutinho having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Digo Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jofre EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabaqueiro AD the free kick. Digo Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Dino Coutinho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 44 minutes into the game, Evandro Pena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dino Coutinho. Evandro Pena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tabaqueiro AD's Ernesto Guedes got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Pena to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Jofre EC booed when Tabaqueiro AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jofre EC's Luís Eduardo Cordeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tabaqueiro AD. Cássio Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Aguiar having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Guedes during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tabaqueiro AD getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ernesto Guedes hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cássio Reis sped through Tabaqueiro AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iuri Aguiar. 68 minutes into the match, Jofre EC's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Maranhense came free, but Dino Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Jofre EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Fontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 74thth minute of the game Evandro Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jofre EC's Dino Coutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iuri Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Reis in the 80th minute. When Evandro Pena came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tabaqueiro AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Pena couldn't finish the play. After 89 minutes, Remo Ferraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jofre EC and the Tabaqueiro AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Jofre EC got a freekick which was hit by Remo Ferraz. Digo Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Iuri Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
