Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Castel FC's Alfredinho da Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Itapui booed when Castel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedro Augusto Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Moreno in the 8th minute of play. Alexsandro Paraíba hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Pedro Augusto Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauan Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Moreno in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Falcão Moreno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cauan Meirelles. Falcão Moreno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pedro Augusto Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Meirelles having to interfere. Alexsandro Paraíba was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 34th match minute, Castel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Meirelles acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rubinho Alvarenga. Cauan Meirelles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Falcão Moreno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Itapui's Pedro Augusto Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Augusto Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cauan Meirelles having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Castel FC's Breno de Souza got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Pedro Augusto Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Alfredinho da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castel FC and the Itapui players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Castel FC defense, Falcão Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cauan Meirelles. The Castel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauan Meirelles should have stopped the shot. Falcão Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Meirelles having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Itapui's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enio Lucas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rubens Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Nogueira having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Enio Lucas could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Dadá Nogueira however easily saved by the left post. Falcão Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cauan Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Itapui getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Enrique Castro hit a great ball. If Enio Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Itapui's zone, Enio Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadá Nogueira came out of the goal and Enio Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Itapui's goalkeeper Dadá Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Lucas. Rubens Marques struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Dadá Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castel FC. 94 minutes into the game, one of Itapui:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Itapui fans cheered their team off the field, for while Castel FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
